Fredericton is a small, green capital on the Saint John River, with low rent and a quiet pace. Most international students, though, study at the Toronto or Vancouver campuses.
Those two campuses are city teaching spaces rather than traditional campuses, with no residences. Budget for high rents in both cities.
Letter of acceptance from Yorkville University
Provincial attestation letter
Proof of funds for tuition and living
Online IRCC study permit application
Medical exam, if requested
Valid passport and biometrics
Yorkville admits on a rolling basis. Apply four to six months before your intake so there is time for the study permit.
There are three intakes a year: January, May and September. Interior design admits less often.
A Canadian study permit. Start with the letter of acceptance from Yorkville University and, where required, the provincial attestation letter, then apply to IRCC online. Allow a few months, as processing times vary by country.
The BBA, interior design and counselling psychology are the main programmes. Undergraduates need secondary school and IELTS 6.0 to 6.5. The counselling master's needs a relevant bachelor's degree.
Yorkville offers some entrance awards and bursaries. Ask admissions which apply to international students.
