The Wisconsin School of Business is the business school of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, based in Grainger Hall on University Avenue. Its full-time MBA is organised around specialised centres, so students pick a field such as supply chain, brand management, real estate or investment analysis from the start. It also runs a large undergraduate BBA and master's degrees in accounting and business analytics. Madison itself sits on an isthmus between two lakes.

Grainger Hall is in the middle of campus, a few minutes from State Street, the pedestrian strip that runs up to the Wisconsin State Capitol. Lake Mendota's shore and the Memorial Union terrace are close by.
Madison is a college city with good bus and bike networks and a lot of green space. Winters are genuinely cold. Chicago is about two and a half hours away by coach.

The full-time MBA admits in rounds, usually from October to April; international applicants should aim for the earlier rounds. Specialised master's programmes have their own dates, and undergraduates apply through UW-Madison's admissions deadlines.
The MBA and most master's programmes start in late August. The Master of Accountancy also has a January start for some students.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, the University of Wisconsin–Madison issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
The full-time MBA, business analytics, accountancy and the finance BBA draw many international students. Graduate applicants need a bachelor's degree, and the MBA asks for work experience, essays and a GMAT or GRE (waivers are possible). English is usually TOEFL 92 or IELTS 7.0.
Most full-time MBA students receive some funding through scholarships or assistantships, and international students are eligible. Specialised master's programmes offer fewer awards. Undergraduate aid for international students is very limited.
