Wichita calls itself the Air Capital of the World, and Wichita State plays into that. Its National Institute for Aviation Research is among the largest university aviation labs in the US, and Textron Aviation and Spirit AeroSystems are both in town. Engineering and computing programmes draw a big share of international master's students. Many degrees build in paid applied learning with local companies.

Wichita State reviews applications on a rolling basis. International applicants should apply by about June for fall and October for spring to leave time for the I-20 and visa.
Fall and spring are the main intakes, and most graduate programmes admit for both. A small number of courses also start in summer.
International students come in on an F-1 visa. The I-20 comes from Wichita State University after you confirm your place and show you can cover a year of costs; you then pay the SEVIS fee, fill in the DS-160 and book your consulate interview.
Computer science, aerospace engineering, engineering management and the MBA are the busiest graduate programmes. Master's entry needs a relevant bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.5. Undergraduates need good secondary results and IELTS 6.0.
Yes. Wichita State offers international merit scholarships, including awards for undergraduates based on grades. Some graduate students find assistantships through their department.
