Norton is a quiet town roughly halfway between Boston and Providence, and Wheaton College takes up a leafy stretch of it around a pond called Peacock Pond. The college began in 1834 as a female seminary and went coeducational in 1988. Today about 1,700 undergraduates study the liberal arts here, with strong numbers in biology, psychology, economics and business. There are almost no graduate programmes, so professors teach undergraduates directly.

Wheaton uses Early Decision, Early Action and Regular Decision. Early deadlines are in November, and Regular Decision usually closes in mid-January for fall entry.
There is one main entry point, in late August for the fall semester. A small number of transfer students start in January.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, Wheaton College issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
Biology, psychology, economics, business and computer science are common choices. Applicants need strong secondary school grades, teacher recommendations and an essay. Tests are optional, and non-native speakers usually show IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 90.
Yes. Wheaton gives merit scholarships to international students and some need-based aid. Awards are decided at admission, so submit financial documents with your application.
