Professor Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya set up WMG in 1980 to link the University of Warwick with British industry, and it still works closely with carmakers such as Jaguar Land Rover. It is an academic department of the university that teaches engineering, management and cyber security master's degrees. Most MSc modules are taught in intensive one-week blocks. The National Automotive Innovation Centre sits on its part of campus.

WMG accepts MSc applications from autumn until courses are full. Popular courses fill months before September, so apply early, ideally by the start of the year.

Engineering business management, supply chain, project management and cyber security management are the most popular MSc courses. Most need a 2:1 bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related subject and IELTS 6.5.
