Hamilton's city campus puts Wintec a few minutes' walk from the Waikato River and the shops of Victoria Street. The Waikato Institute of Technology is a public polytechnic with a second large campus at Rotokauri, where trades and engineering are taught. Nursing, engineering, IT, hospitality and media arts are its main areas. New Zealand's polytechnics have been restructured more than once since 2020, so check the current name on your offer.
