Lampeter, a small town in the hills of Ceredigion, has awarded degrees since the 1820s, and its college is the oldest university institution in Wales. It's now part of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, which also teaches in Carmarthen, Swansea, London and Birmingham. Most international students study business, computing or engineering at the Swansea waterfront or on the English campuses.

Courses start in September and January, and some courses at the London and Birmingham campuses have extra start dates.
You'll apply for a Student visa. University of Wales Trinity Saint David gives you a CAS number once your offer is unconditional and the deposit is paid. You can then apply online up to six months before the course starts, with bank evidence and the Immigration Health Surcharge.
Business management, the MBA, computing and automotive engineering are popular. Undergraduates need grades equivalent to UK A levels, and master's applicants need a bachelor's degree. IELTS 6.0 is typical.
UWTSD offers international scholarships as tuition discounts, some applied automatically at offer stage. Check the scholarships page for current values.
