Undergraduate admission is rolling, with an Early Action deadline of 1 November 2026 and a 15 January 2027 priority date for fall 2027 scholarships; applications stay open into summer. Graduate deadlines are set by each programme, with most engineering and computing master's closing between 1 February and 1 June.
Undergraduates can start in fall (August) or spring (January). Most master's programmes, including computer science, cyber security, petroleum engineering, the MBA and mechanical engineering, admit for both fall and spring. Check your programme's admissions page to confirm.
You need an F-1 student visa. The Center for Global Engagement issues your Form I-20 after you accept the offer and submit proof of funding. Then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and book an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
Computer science, cyber security, petroleum engineering, the MBA and mechanical engineering attract the most international applicants. Graduate admission needs a bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0, TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.5, and the GRE or GMAT for some programmes. Undergraduate admission is selective, with an acceptance rate around 60%.
Yes. International undergraduates are automatically considered for merit scholarships worth up to around USD 25,000 a year when they apply, and Tulsa's large endowment funds generous aid. Master's applicants with strong records receive partial tuition scholarships, and research assistantships are common in engineering and cyber security.
