University Park is a green campus of lakes and lawns about two miles from the city centre, with a free hopper bus linking it to the Jubilee and Sutton Bonington campuses.
Nottingham is a compact, affordable city with two universities and a large student population. Trams run from campus to the centre, and Sherwood Forest and the Peak District are close.

Undergraduate applications go through UCAS with an equal-consideration deadline of 14 January 2027 for September 2027 entry; medicine closes on 15 October 2026. Taught Master's courses accept applications on a rolling basis, but many close in early summer once full, so apply by April.
The main intake is September for all undergraduate and most postgraduate courses. A small number of taught Master's programmes, mostly in business and engineering, also start in January. Check the course page for the current year's options.
You need a Student route visa. Nottingham issues your CAS once you hold an unconditional offer and have paid any required deposit. Apply online up to six months before your course starts, and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge as part of the application.
Computer science, management, engineering, finance and pharmacy are the most popular choices. Master's courses usually ask for a 2:1 or equivalent and IELTS 6.5, with engineering accepting 6.0. Undergraduate offers typically range from AAA to ABB or equivalent.
Yes. The Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship covers 50% or 100% of tuition for students from eligible countries, including India, studying selected Master's courses.
