Undergraduate admission is rolling, with international applicants advised to apply by early spring for September and by early autumn for January to leave time for the study permit. Course-based master's programmes have fixed deadlines for each intake, typically four to six months before the start term. Check your programme's page.
September is the main intake for all programmes. Many undergraduate programmes also admit for January, and course-based master's degrees in computer science and engineering admit for September, January and sometimes May. The MBA is September only.
You need a Canadian study permit. After you accept your offer, UNB issues a letter of acceptance and, where required, a provincial attestation letter. You then apply online to IRCC with proof of funds and give biometrics. Allow three to four months for processing.
Computer science, electrical and computer engineering, the MBA, applied cybersecurity and mechanical engineering attract the most international applicants. Master's entry needs a four-year bachelor's degree with a B average (around 70% for Indian degrees), TOEFL 80-94 or IELTS 6.5-7.0. The MBA requires work experience.
Yes. International undergraduates are automatically considered for entrance scholarships based on their admission average, with larger awards for top applicants. Research master's students usually receive funding from their department, and course-based programmes offer some merit awards. Check UNB's financial aid pages for current amounts.
