Alliance is a small Ohio city between Canton and Youngstown, and the University of Mount Union sits a few blocks from its main streets. Founded in 1846, it's a private university affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Engineering, nursing and business are the big academic draws. On autumn Saturdays the Purple Raiders, one of the most successful football programmes in NCAA Division III, fill the stadium.

Mount Union reviews applications on a rolling basis. International students should apply by May for fall so the I-20 and visa interview can be arranged in time.
Most students start in the fall semester in August; some programmes also admit in January.
It's the F-1 student visa. Get your I-20 from University of Mount Union first (they need your deposit and bank documents), then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and attend the visa interview. Book the interview early in peak season.
Engineering, nursing, business and computer science are popular. Entry is based on secondary school grades, with IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 71 for most programmes and higher scores for nursing.
Yes. Mount Union awards merit scholarships to most international students, and these reduce the listed tuition considerably.
