Morris is a prairie town of about 5,000 people in west-central Minnesota. The University of Minnesota's campus there is a small public liberal arts college with around 1,000 students, where most classes are seminars or small labs. Some of its buildings date from an earlier life as an American Indian boarding school, and Native American students attend tuition-free today. Wind turbines and a biomass plant power part of the campus.
