Mannheim's fall semester starts in September and the spring semester in February. Most master's programmes admit in the fall.
A German national student visa. Book the embassy appointment early (waits can be long), and bring your admission letter, a blocked account covering a year of living costs, health insurance and, if you studied in India, the APS certificate.
The Mannheim Master in Management, economics, business informatics and data science attract the most international students. Admission is competitive and usually asks for a strong bachelor's, English around IELTS 7.0 and sometimes a GMAT or GRE.
Mannheim offers the Deutschlandstipendium and some scholarships for non-EU students. The DAAD funds many international master's students.
