The Queensgate campus is a compact town-centre site beside the Huddersfield Narrow Canal, with the library, students' union and most teaching buildings within a few minutes' walk.
Huddersfield is a market town in the Pennines with very low rent and Leeds and Manchester each about 30 minutes away by train. The Peak District is close by.

Undergraduate applications go through UCAS with an equal-consideration deadline of 14 January 2027 for September 2027 entry. Taught Master's courses accept applications on a rolling basis, with most closing in July for September and November for January.
September is the main intake for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Huddersfield also runs a January intake for many taught Master's programmes, including computer science, data science, international business and engineering. Check the course page for which intakes are open.
You need a Student route visa. Huddersfield issues your CAS once you accept an unconditional offer and pay the deposit. Apply online up to six months before your course starts, showing proof of funds, and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge with the application.
