Dubai runs on the Metro's Red and Green lines, and most students live near a station to avoid taxi bills.
Summer heat pushes life indoors from June to September. The rest of the year there are beaches, desert trips and a huge food scene. Rent is the biggest cost.

UE Dubai reviews applications on a rolling basis. Aim to apply three months before your start date so the residence visa is ready in time.
The main intake is in September, with a spring start for some programmes. Ask admissions which courses take the spring intake.
UE Dubai sponsors your student residence visa after enrolment. The rest is local paperwork: a medical test and your Emirates ID.
Business and management, digital media and marketing, software engineering and innovation-focused master's are the main areas. Bachelor's applicants need secondary school completion and IELTS 6.0; master's applicants need a bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.5.
UE has offered early-bird and merit discounts on tuition. Check current offers with the Dubai admissions team.
