Master's programmes use application rounds that usually open in October and run into spring or early summer. Popular MSc courses fill early, so aim for the first or second round. Undergraduate business applications go through UCAS by the January deadline.
Master's programmes, the MBA and undergraduate degrees all start in September.
You'll apply for a Student visa. The University of Edinburgh gives you a CAS number once your offer is unconditional and the deposit is paid. You can then apply online up to six months before the course starts, with bank evidence and the Immigration Health Surcharge.
The MBA and the MSc courses in business analytics, finance and investment, marketing and international business are popular. MSc applicants need a strong bachelor's degree, usually a UK 2:1 or equivalent, plus IELTS 7.0. The MBA also asks for work experience.
The school and the wider University of Edinburgh offer scholarships for international students, mostly partial awards for master's and MBA applicants. They are competitive, so apply early.
