Undergraduate admission is rolling, with a 1 December 2026 priority date for fall 2027 that gives the best chance at scholarships and competitive programmes such as engineering and design; applications stay open into spring. Graduate deadlines are set by each programme, with most engineering and IT master's closing between January and April.
Undergraduates can start in fall (August) or spring (January). Most engineering, computer science and IT master's programmes also admit for spring, while Lindner's business analytics is fall only. Check your programme's admissions page to confirm.
You need an F-1 student visa. UC International issues your Form I-20 after you accept the offer and submit proof of funding. Then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and book an interview at a US embassy or consulate. Co-op work is authorised through CPT on the same visa.
Computer science, information technology, business analytics, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering attract the most international applicants. Graduate admission needs a bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0, TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.5, and the GRE for some programmes. Undergraduate admission is based mainly on grades.
Yes. International undergraduates are automatically considered for merit scholarships based on their grades when they apply by the priority date; need-based aid is not available. Graduate students can apply for teaching and research assistantships and college-level scholarships, and paid co-op terms offset costs.
