Applications are rolling for both intakes. For a February start, apply by late November to leave time for the offer, deposit and visa; for a July start, apply by late April. Some programmes with limited places, such as medicine and dentistry, have fixed earlier deadlines listed on their pages.
There are two main intakes: Semester 1 in February and Semester 2 in July. Most undergraduate and coursework master's programmes admit for both. A few programmes are February only, so check the course page before you plan.
You need a Student visa (subclass 500). After you accept your offer and pay the deposit, the university issues a Confirmation of Enrolment. You then apply online through ImmiAccount with proof of funds, Overseas Student Health Cover and a Genuine Student statement.
Computer science, data science, engineering, the MBA and public health are the most applied-for programmes. Master's entry usually needs a bachelor's degree with a credit average (about 60-65% for Indian degrees) and IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. Undergraduate entry is based on your school results.
Yes. The Global Citizens Scholarship gives a 15% to 30% tuition reduction for the whole degree, and the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) covers 50% for top applicants. Both are awarded automatically on academic merit when you apply, so no separate application is needed.
