The campuses are modern city-centre teaching buildings with classrooms, computer labs and student services rather than residential campuses, so most students rent privately.
London offers the UK's largest job market with the highest rents, while Birmingham is the UK's second city, with lower living costs and a big student population. The two are 80 minutes apart by train.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for the January, May and September intakes. International applicants should apply at least two to three months before the start date to leave time for the CAS and visa.
Most courses start in January, May and September, including international business with project management, data science, cyber security and the MBA. Check the course page for your chosen city.
You need a Student route visa. Ulster University issues your CAS once you accept an unconditional offer and pay the deposit. Apply online up to six months before your course starts, showing proof of funds for your campus city, and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge.
International business with project management, data science, cyber security and the MBA are the most applied-for programmes. Most Master's courses ask for a 2:2 or equivalent and IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5.
Tuition discounts and scholarships are sometimes available for early payment or specific intakes. Ask the admissions team for current awards before you apply, as they change between intakes.
