For September 2027 undergraduate entry, international applicants should apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre by 1 February 2027, with documents due by early March. Graduate deadlines vary: most engineering master's close around 1 February for fall, and the MBA runs rounds into spring.
September is the main intake for all programmes. Course-based MEng programmes in computer and electrical engineering also admit for January, while data science, the MBA and digital media are September only. Check your programme's admissions page to confirm.
You need a Canadian study permit. After you accept your offer, TMU issues a letter of acceptance and, where required, a provincial attestation letter. You then apply online to IRCC with proof of funds and give biometrics. Allow three to four months for processing.
Computer engineering, data science and analytics, the Ted Rogers MBA, electrical engineering and digital media attract the most international applicants. Master's entry needs a four-year bachelor's degree with a B average (around 70% for Indian degrees), TOEFL 93 or IELTS 7.0. The MBA requires the GMAT or GRE and work experience.
Yes. International undergraduates are automatically considered for entrance scholarships based on their admission average, with larger awards for top applicants. Graduate students can apply for departmental awards, and thesis-based programmes usually include funding. Check TMU's student financial assistance pages for current amounts.
