Fort Worth likes to call itself the place where the West begins, and Texas Christian University has been part of the city since 1910, when it moved from Waco after a fire. TCU is a private university of about 12,000 students, affiliated with the Disciples of Christ. The Neeley School of Business draws many international students. It also has unusual programmes, such as ranch management.
