Fredonia admits on a rolling basis. International students should apply by about May for fall and November for spring. Music applicants also need an audition, so book one well ahead.
Students start in fall (late August) or spring (January). Music programmes mostly begin in fall.
It's the F-1 student visa. Get your I-20 from State University of New York at Fredonia first (they need your deposit and bank documents), then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and attend the visa interview. Book the interview early in peak season.
Music education, performance, sound recording technology, business and computer science are popular. You need secondary school results and English around IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 70. Music applicants must pass an audition, and sound recording has its own selective entry.
Fredonia gives merit scholarships to international students at admission, and the School of Music awards talent scholarships after auditions. Check the international admissions page for current amounts.
