Surrey is growing faster than almost anywhere in Metro Vancouver, and it needs care workers, early childhood educators and office staff. Sprott Shaw's Surrey campus trains people for exactly those jobs. It's part of a private career college founded in 1903. The programmes are short and hands-on, but graduates generally can't apply for a post-graduation work permit.
