Carleton University's campus is squeezed between the Rideau Canal and the Rideau River, and the Sprott School of Business is its business faculty. Undergraduates pick between the Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of International Business that includes a language and a year abroad. Graduate students take the MBA or an accounting master's. Ottawa's federal departments and the Kanata tech park shape many of the job options.

Carleton's buildings are joined by underground tunnels that students use all winter. The O-Train stops on campus, and the canal next door turns into a skating path when it freezes.
Ottawa is a bilingual government city, calmer than Toronto and a bit cheaper. Gatineau, in Quebec, is across the river, and the ByWard Market is where people go out.

Undergraduate applications go through the OUAC, and international students should apply by around February for September. Graduate programmes set their own deadlines, often between January and April, and some close earlier for international applicants.
Most programmes start in September. Check the MBA page in case a January start is offered in your year.
A Canadian study permit. Start with the letter of acceptance from Carleton University and, where required, the provincial attestation letter, then apply to IRCC online. Allow a few months, as processing times vary by country.
The Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of International Business are the main undergraduate choices; the MBA and Master of Accounting are the popular graduate ones. Undergraduates need good secondary grades including maths, plus IELTS 6.5. The MBA needs a bachelor's degree and may ask for GMAT or GRE scores.
Carleton gives entrance scholarships to international undergraduates with strong grades, renewable if you keep your average up. Funding for business master's students is more limited, so check the Sprott and Carleton awards pages.
