Most people know SNHU for its huge online programme, but there is a real residential campus in Manchester, New Hampshire, and that is where F-1 students study. It began in 1932 as a small accounting and secretarial school. The campus now teaches business, computing, data analytics, game design and hospitality, and it cut its on-campus tuition sharply a few years ago.

Manchester is New Hampshire's largest city, built around old brick mills on the Merrimack River that now hold tech offices and restaurants. The campus is on the edge of town, so a car helps.
Boston is about an hour south. Winters are long and snowy, and New Hampshire has no general sales tax.
Form I-20 issued by Southern New Hampshire University
Proof of funds for one academic year
SEVIS I-901 fee payment receipt
Completed DS-160 online application
US embassy or consulate interview
Passport valid six months beyond stay
SNHU reviews campus applications on a rolling basis. International students should apply by about May for fall and October for spring to allow time for the I-20 and visa.
Campus programmes start in fall (August) and spring (January).
International students come in on an F-1 visa. The I-20 comes from Southern New Hampshire University after you confirm your place and show you can cover a year of costs; you then pay the SEVIS fee, fill in the DS-160 and book your consulate interview.
Computer science, game design, IT, data analytics and the MBA are common choices. Undergraduates need secondary school completion and IELTS 6.0; master's programmes need a bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.5. F-1 students must take their programme on campus, not online.
Yes. SNHU gives merit scholarships to many international campus students at admission. Amounts vary, so ask admissions what applies to your programme.
