A one-year MSc is what brings most international students to Southampton Business School. The school is the University of Southampton's home for accounting, finance, marketing and management, and it teaches on the Highfield campus in the north of the city. Degrees carry the Russell Group university's name. Southampton itself is a working port, with container docks, cruise terminals and Ordnance Survey's headquarters.

Undergraduates apply through UCAS, with the main equal-consideration deadline in late January. MSc applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but popular courses fill, so international students should apply by spring for September and leave time for the CAS and visa.
Almost all programmes start in September. A few master's courses have offered January starts in some years, so check the course page.
A UK Student visa, sponsored by the University of Southampton. Once you hold a CAS, apply online, show funds held for 28 days, and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge. Most decisions come back within three weeks from outside the UK.
Finance, business analytics, digital marketing and international management are the most popular MSc choices, along with BSc Accounting and Finance. MSc applicants usually need the equivalent of a 2:1 bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each part.
The University of Southampton runs merit scholarships for international students, often as a tuition discount for strong applicants, plus some country-specific awards. Amounts and rules change each year, so check the scholarships page before applying.
