Sheridan's animation graduates have gone on to studios such as Pixar, Disney and DreamWorks, and the programme is taught at the Trafalgar Road Campus in Oakville. This is the college's original campus, and it's the centre for animation, illustration, film, music theatre and design. Computing and some business programmes are here too. Portfolios and auditions matter as much as grades for the arts courses.

The arts degrees start in September only. Computing and some other programmes also start in January.
A Canadian study permit. Start with the letter of acceptance from Sheridan College and, where required, the provincial attestation letter, then apply to IRCC online. Allow a few months, as processing times vary by country.
Animation, illustration, music theatre and film are the best-known programmes, and they need a portfolio or audition. Computing diplomas need high school completion and IELTS 6.0.
Sheridan offers a small number of entrance scholarships for international students. Awards are modest, so plan for full tuition.
