UQAM's business school, the École des sciences de la gestion (ESG), is in the Quartier latin, right above the Berri-UQAM metro hub. It's one of the largest French-language business schools in North America. Programmes cover business administration, accounting, economics and tourism. Nearly all teaching is in French, so this suits students who are already comfortable studying in the language.

The Quartier latin is a student area of cafes, cinemas and bars along Saint-Denis Street. Berri-UQAM metro, where three lines meet, is directly below campus.
Montreal is cheaper than Toronto or Vancouver. French is the everyday language, winters are long, and summer festivals take over the streets around Place des Arts.

For fall entry, international applicants should apply by early February; for winter, by early autumn. Apply early, since the CAQ and study permit add months.
Most programmes start in September, and many bachelor's programmes also admit in January.
You need a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and then a Canadian study permit, supported by the letter of acceptance from UQAM. Apply online to IRCC with proof of funds and biometrics.
The BAA, accounting and economics are the most popular. All programmes are taught in French, and applicants from outside French-speaking systems may need to show their level. Master's entry needs a relevant bachelor's degree.
UQAM offers some scholarships and fee exemptions for international students, and French citizens pay reduced Quebec rates. Check the UQAM international page.
