The white mission-style chapel at Saint Mary's is set against the hills of Moraga, a quiet town east of Oakland and Berkeley. The college is run in the Lasallian Catholic tradition and has about 2,500 undergraduates. Every student takes Collegiate Seminar, a discussion course built on classic texts. The January Term is a month for one unusual course, often taught abroad.

For fall entry, Early Action closes in November and Regular Decision in mid-January. Graduate programmes review applications on a rolling basis.
Undergraduates start in late August. Some graduate programmes also start in spring.
It's the F-1 student visa. Get your I-20 from Saint Mary's College of California first (they need your deposit and bank documents), then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and attend the visa interview. Book the interview early in peak season.
Business administration, economics, kinesiology and communication are popular undergraduate choices. The accounting and business analytics master's attract graduate students. Undergraduates need strong grades and TOEFL 79.
Saint Mary's gives merit scholarships to most undergraduates, including international students, when they're admitted. Graduate scholarships are more limited.
