Deadlines vary by programme and many close between December and March for fall entry. Some health sciences programmes use a central application service, so check each course page.
Most programmes start in late summer or fall. A few start in summer.
International students come in on an F-1 visa. The I-20 comes from Rush University after you confirm your place and show you can cover a year of costs; you then pay the SEVIS fee, fill in the DS-160 and book your consulate interview.
Health systems management, nursing doctorates, medical laboratory science and audiology are popular with international applicants. You need a relevant bachelor's degree, prerequisite courses for clinical programmes and TOEFL around 90. Nursing doctorates need a nursing licence.
Rush offers limited scholarships, and federal aid isn't available to international students. Plan to fund most of the cost yourself or through outside awards.
