Co-op is compulsory at Gustavson, the University of Victoria's business school. BCom students enter after a first year of UVic courses and then alternate classes with paid work terms. The school puts weight on international business and sustainability, and its Master of Global Business sends students to partner schools abroad. It sits on UVic's campus inside Ring Road, in Saanich, a short bus ride from downtown Victoria.

Most BCom students apply to UVic for first year and then to Gustavson, usually by a winter deadline. Graduate business programmes have deadlines through winter and spring; international applicants should apply early to allow for study permit processing.
The BCom and the graduate programmes start in September.
Study permit, applied for through IRCC. You'll upload the acceptance letter from the University of Victoria, an attestation letter if your programme needs one, proof you can pay tuition and living costs, and then give biometrics.
The BCom, the MBA and the Master of Global Business are the main programmes. BCom applicants complete first-year UVic courses first. The MBA needs a bachelor's degree and work experience, while the MGB suits recent graduates. Expect IELTS 6.5 to 7.0.
UVic offers entrance scholarships to international undergraduates, and Gustavson has awards for BCom and graduate students. Amounts vary and most are partial.
