Palm Beach Atlantic is a private Christian university founded in 1968, and faith is part of daily life, with chapel and a community service requirement called Workship. Clematis Street, with its restaurants and a Thursday evening street party, is a short walk from campus. The Brightline station downtown links to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Orlando.
Winters are warm; summers are hot, humid and stormy, and hurricane season runs from June to November. Rent in Palm Beach County is high, so many students stay in university housing.

Palm Beach Atlantic reviews applications on a rolling basis. International students should apply by spring for fall entry so the I-20 and visa interview can be arranged in time. PharmD applicants apply through PharmCAS.
Most students start in August, and many programmes also accept new students in January.
It's the F-1 student visa. Get your I-20 from Palm Beach Atlantic University first (they need your deposit and bank documents), then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and attend the visa interview. Book the interview early in peak season.
Pharmacy, nursing, business and biology are popular. Undergraduate entry is based on secondary school grades plus IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 79. The PharmD needs prerequisite science courses.
PBA offers merit scholarships to international undergraduates based on academic record. Awards are renewable if you keep your grades up.
