Nashville is home to HCA Healthcare and dozens of other health companies, and Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management makes the most of it. The school sits on Vanderbilt's campus off West End Avenue, a few minutes from Music Row. Its MBA runs in short modules rather than semesters, and students can shape a concentration in areas such as healthcare, finance or operations. One-year master's degrees in finance, accountancy and marketing suit students coming straight from a bachelor's.

The school is off West End Avenue at the edge of Vanderbilt's leafy campus, a short walk from Midtown's bars and Centennial Park, with its full-size Parthenon replica.
Nashville has grown fast and rent has followed, especially near campus. Most students end up needing a car, and live music is everywhere, not only on Broadway.

Owen admits in rounds. The first MBA round usually closes in the autumn and the last in spring; international applicants should aim for the first two rounds to leave time for the I-20 and visa. The specialised master's programmes also use rounds.
All programmes start in August, with orientation in late summer.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, Vanderbilt University issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
The MBA, MS Finance, Master of Accountancy and MS Marketing are the main options. MBA applicants need a bachelor's degree, work experience and a GMAT or GRE score. Most international applicants also need an English test.
Yes. Owen awards merit scholarships to MBA and master's students, including international applicants, as part of the admissions decision. Most awards need no separate form.
