Most OISE programmes have deadlines between late November and January for September entry. The Master of Teaching and the child study MA fill quickly, so apply by the first deadline.
Most programmes start in September. A few part-time MEd options also allow other start dates.
You'll need a study permit. the University of Toronto sends a letter of acceptance, and most students also need a provincial attestation letter. The permit application goes online to IRCC with proof of funds and biometrics.
The Master of Teaching, MEd, MA Child Study and Education, counselling psychology and the PhD attract many international students. You need a four-year bachelor's degree with at least a B+ average and strong English results. Teacher education also asks for relevant experience with learners.
Doctoral students are usually funded through a U of T funding package. Master's funding is limited, though some OISE awards are open to international students.
