The campus is large and green, on the western edge of a Leicestershire market town, with halls, sports pitches and the students' union all on site.
Loughborough is small and affordable. Nottingham and Leicester are a short train ride away, and London St Pancras is about 75 minutes.

Applications are open all year, but the September intake is busiest. Apply three to four months ahead to leave time for your CAS and visa.
Foundation and pre-master's courses start in September and January. Some subject streams only start in September.
A UK Student visa, sponsored by Loughborough University. Once you hold a CAS, apply online, show funds held for 28 days, and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge. Most decisions come back within three weeks from outside the UK.
Engineering and business foundations are the most popular, and the pre-master's suits graduates aiming for engineering or management master's. Foundation entry needs strong secondary grades and IELTS about 5.0; the pre-master's needs a degree and IELTS 5.5.
