International undergraduate applications close 1 March 2027 for fall and 1 November 2026 for spring. Graduate deadlines are set by each programme, with most computing master's closing between February and April for fall.
Undergraduates can start in fall or spring. Computer science, data science, the MBA and cybersecurity admit for both terms.
You need an F-1 student visa. Montclair's international office issues your Form I-20 after you accept the offer and submit proof of funding. Then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and attend a visa interview.
Computer science, data science, the MBA and cybersecurity are popular. Graduate admission needs a bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 and TOEFL 83 or IELTS 6.5.
Montclair offers merit scholarships to some international undergraduates and assistantships for graduate students. Check the financial aid pages for current amounts.
