Billings is Montana's largest city, spread along the Yellowstone River below a line of sandstone cliffs the locals call the Rims. Montana State University Billings started life in 1927 as a teacher-training school and now teaches business, education, health administration and the sciences. There's also City College, its two-year campus for technical and trades programmes. Classes are small.

MSU Billings reviews international applications on a rolling basis. Aim to apply by early summer for August entry and by October for January, so there is time for the I-20 and visa interview.
Students start in August for fall or January for spring. Some graduate programmes admit in fall only.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, Montana State University Billings issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
Business administration, health administration and biology draw many international undergraduates, and the Master of Health Administration is a common graduate choice. Undergraduates need secondary school transcripts and IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 71; graduate programmes ask for a bachelor's degree and a higher English score.
The university has some tuition awards for international students, usually based on grades. Ask the international office which ones are open when you apply.
