A supercomputer named Rosie sits in Diercks Hall at MSOE, where undergraduates use it for their AI coursework. The Milwaukee School of Engineering was founded in 1903 and is small, private and focused on applied engineering, computing, business and nursing. Its campus is on the east side of downtown Milwaukee, a few blocks from Lake Michigan. Teaching is hands-on, with a lot of lab time.

Artificial intelligence, computer science, mechanical and electrical engineering are popular, along with the MS in machine learning. Entry is based on high school maths and science grades, with IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 79.
MSOE awards merit scholarships to most undergraduates, including international students.
