Ealing Studios faces Ealing Green, a few minutes' walk from Ealing Broadway, where the Elizabeth line and Central line run into central London.
Ealing feels like a leafy suburb with pubs and parks, but rents are London rents. Many students share houses in Ealing, Acton or Hanwell.

MetFilm accepts applications on a rolling basis, and popular MAs fill up. International applicants should apply four to six months ahead to allow for the CAS and visa.
The main intake is September. Several MA programmes also start in January.
You'll apply for a Student visa. MetFilm School gives you a CAS number once your offer is unconditional and the deposit is paid. You can then apply online up to six months before the course starts, with bank evidence and the Immigration Health Surcharge.
The BA in Practical Filmmaking and the MAs in directing, producing, screenwriting and cinematography are the most popular. Expect to send a portfolio or short film, with IELTS around 6.0 for undergraduates and 6.5 for master's.
MetFilm offers a small number of scholarships and bursaries each year. Check the fees and funding page for current awards.
