For September 2027 undergraduate entry, international applicants must apply by 1 March 2027; January 2027 entry closes 1 October 2026. Graduate deadlines are set by each programme, with most engineering and computer science master's closing about six months before the start term.
September is the main intake. Many undergraduate programmes also admit for January, and course-based master's degrees in engineering and computer science admit for September, January and May. The MBA admits for September and January.
You need a Canadian study permit. After you accept your offer, Memorial issues a letter of acceptance and, where required, a provincial attestation letter. You then apply online to IRCC with proof of funds and give biometrics. Allow three to four months for processing.
Computer science, electrical and computer engineering, the MBA, ocean engineering and software engineering attract the most international applicants. Master's entry needs a four-year bachelor's degree with a B average (around 70% for Indian degrees), TOEFL 79-92 or IELTS 6.5-7.0. The MBA requires the GMAT or GRE.
Yes. International undergraduates are automatically considered for entrance scholarships based on their admission average, and graduate students in research programmes usually receive funding from their department, which combined with low tuition makes Memorial one of Canada's cheapest options.
