The Medical College of Wisconsin shares the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus in Wauwatosa with Froedtert Hospital and Children's Wisconsin. It trains doctors, pharmacists and biomedical scientists, with a large research budget for a private medical school. International students mostly join the graduate school for PhD and master's research. Its MD programme also runs regional campuses in Green Bay and central Wisconsin.

PhD applications usually close in December for the following August. PharmD applicants apply through PharmCAS. The MD programme uses AMCAS, and places for international applicants are very limited.
Graduate programmes start in August. The PharmD starts in the summer.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, Medical College of Wisconsin issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
Biomedical sciences, biostatistics and medical physics PhDs attract most international students, along with the PharmD. PhD applicants need a relevant degree, research experience and strong references.
Most PhD students receive a stipend and tuition coverage. Scholarships for professional programmes such as pharmacy are limited for international students.
