The St. Charles Avenue streetcar stops right outside Loyola's front lawn, across from Audubon Park in Uptown New Orleans. This Jesuit university, next door to Tulane, is small and known for music, music industry studies, communication and law. Students play gigs in a city where live music is part of daily life. Business and nursing are popular too.
