A converted church in Fulham is home to London Film Academy, an independent film school that keeps its courses hands-on. Students write, shoot and edit their own films, on digital and on 16mm, from the first term. Groups are small and much of the teaching comes from working filmmakers. It suits people who want to make films rather than study them.
