Hershey, the chocolate town, is about 15 minutes down the road from Annville, a small Pennsylvania town where Lebanon Valley College has been since 1866. LVC is a private college of around 1,500 undergraduates. Its best-known programmes are unusual for a small school: actuarial science, physical therapy and music recording technology. Most students live on campus.
