There are no dorms on the main campus, so students use homestays or share apartments in town. LTD buses run to downtown and the University of Oregon.
Eugene is a green, laid-back college town on the Willamette River. The coast and the Cascades are both about an hour's drive.

Lane admits international students for most terms. Apply two to three months before the term starts to leave time for the I-20 and visa.
Lane runs on terms, with starts in fall, winter and spring. English courses also start in summer.
International students come in on an F-1 visa. The I-20 comes from Lane Community College after you confirm your place and show you can cover a year of costs; you then pay the SEVIS fee, fill in the DS-160 and book your consulate interview.
Oregon transfer degrees in arts, business and science are the main choice. Entry needs completed secondary school and IELTS 5.5 or equivalent; students without a test score can start with English courses.
The Lane Foundation offers scholarships each year, and some are open to international students after their first term. Ask the international office.
