There are no fixed majors at Juniata. Students design a Program of Emphasis instead, often mixing biology with business or chemistry with policy, and advisers help shape it. The college sits in Huntingdon, a small town in the ridges of central Pennsylvania close to Raystown Lake. Founded in 1876, it's known for pre-health science and environmental studies, and it takes a sizeable share of international students for its size.

Almost everyone lives on campus, and the student body is small enough that faculty know names. Hiking and kayaking at Raystown Lake are part of ordinary weekends.
Huntingdon is a quiet town. State College is about 45 minutes away, and Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are each a few hours by car.

Juniata has early decision and early action rounds in November, then regular decision into early spring. International applicants should aim for the early rounds for the best aid.
Most students start in August. A few join in January.
International students come in on an F-1 visa. The I-20 comes from Juniata College after you confirm your place and show you can cover a year of costs; you then pay the SEVIS fee, fill in the DS-160 and book your consulate interview.
Biology, chemistry, environmental science and business are popular emphases. Entry is based on school grades, essays and recommendations, with IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Yes. Juniata gives merit scholarships to most international students, and they can reduce the sticker price substantially.
