High Point has Early Decision and Early Action deadlines in the autumn and a later Regular Decision deadline. International applicants should apply early so there is time for the I-20 and visa.
First-year undergraduates start in August. Graduate and professional programmes set their own dates.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, High Point University issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
Business administration, strategic communication, computer science, exercise science and pharmacy are popular. Undergraduates need strong school grades and IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 80; the PharmD has its own prerequisites and interview.
High Point awards merit scholarships to many undergraduates, including international students, based on grades. Ask admissions about current amounts.
