Proof of funds for one academic year
SEVIS I-901 fee payment receipt
Completed DS-160 online application
US embassy or consulate interview
Passport valid six months beyond stay
Harrisburg University accepts applications on a rolling basis for each term. International applicants should apply three to four months ahead so there is time for the I-20 and visa interview.
Master's programmes start in the fall, spring and summer terms. Undergraduate entry is mainly in the fall.
It's the F-1 student visa. Get your I-20 from Harrisburg University of Science & Technology first (they need your deposit and bank documents), then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 and attend the visa interview. Book the interview early in peak season.
Information systems engineering and management, analytics, computer information sciences and project management are the most popular master's programmes. They need a bachelor's degree and IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80.
Harrisburg offers merit scholarships to many undergraduates; awards for graduate students are more limited. Ask admissions about current offers.
