Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks and Costco all started or grew up around Seattle, and many of their managers came through the Foster School of Business. It's the University of Washington's business school, in PACCAR and Dempsey halls on the main campus. International students come mostly for the full-time MBA and the one-year master's degrees in business analytics and information systems. Class sizes are moderate.

The full-time MBA admits in rounds from October to March. The MS Business Analytics and other master's degrees have autumn and winter deadlines. Undergraduate applications go through UW by mid-November.
The MBA starts in September. The MS Business Analytics starts in summer, and other master's programmes in June or September.
You'll need an F-1 visa. Once you accept your offer and send proof of funding, University of Washington issues the Form I-20. After that it's the SEVIS fee, the DS-160 form and an interview at a US embassy or consulate.
The MBA, business analytics, information systems and accounting master's are popular. The MBA needs work experience and a GMAT or GRE; the specialised master's need a quantitative background.
Foster gives merit fellowships to many MBA students, including international students. Awards for other master's degrees are more limited.
