La Rochelle lives partly from tourism, which makes it a sensible home for Excelia Tourism School, the tourism and hospitality school of the Excelia group. It teaches hotel management, tourism development and events at bachelor's and master's level. Internships come every year, in hotels, destinations and travel firms in France and abroad.
